Along with Trinity Works’ Allison Schapker, Volume partner Adam Brodsley delivered a talk of epic “design for good” proportions about the Boy Scout Sustainability Treehouse at Revival, the AIGA National Design Conference held in New Orleans. Starting with an amazing roll call of former scouts—Kit Hinrichs! Michael Bloomberg! David Lynch! Obama!—Adam and Allison talked about their personal motivations, the project complexities, and the social implications that all intersected in the Treehouse project leaving a transfixed audience in their wake.
