Volume partner, Eric Heiman curated and “symposiarched” (we’re still not sure what this means either) the Re:Design / Creative Directors conference held in Portland, Oregon on October 29-30. Despite the ill-timed Hurricane Sandy that grounded our New York-based speakers (we’re just glad they’re all OK!), the conference was a rousing success with inspiring, intimate discussions led by such design luminaries as Yang Kim from People Design, Tom Crabtree of Manual, and James Bull of Moving Brands to name a few. The conference was capped off by a lively discussion between Eric and Hot Studio founder and CEO, Maria Giudice. The whole event wouldn’t have come off so smoothly if wasn’t for Missy and Ashli, Re:Design / CD’s organizers. Thanks all around to these fearless gals and the speakers who took time away from their busy lives.
