The “Spruce Goose” design racks up the accolades.

Volume was fortunate enough to be part of the team that created Google’s behemoth “Spruce Goose” office in Playa Vista last year. Alongside ZGF (architecture/interiors) and SPMD (art/fabrication) with assistance from Applied Wayfinding, we developed the overall workplace branding narrative and then designed or consulted on the wayfinding, environmental graphics, conference room theming, and commissioned artwork.

Now, the “Goose” has garnered multiple accolades from the likes of the AIAFast Company, and the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Awards. We’re super excited to see this significant project receive some attention.
