Volume partners Adam and Eric hit the main stage at SEGD’s latest national conference, subtitled “Designing Possible Futures.” Alongside fellow speakers Jeremy Mende (of MendeDesign) and Llisa Demetrios (of the Eames Institute), they talked of approaching experiential design work with an emphasis on storytelling, particpation, and delight over efficiency. Drawing from a variety of Volume work, the explained how architecture, graphics, and co-creative processes intersect to produce places that resonate with people beyond getting from Point A to Point B, and how these site-specific strategies can align stakeholders and embed long-term resonance into projects. Inspirational warmth in a chilly ballroom!
