As longtime AIGA members, we were honored and thrilled to design the 2011 National Conference identity and materials. The solution both captures the peripatetic nature of design today and helped attract over 1500 designers from all over the world to come talk shop, hatch new ideas, and drink lots of cocktails under the hot Phoenix sun.
The identity’s multiple logos, triple-weight typeface, and rich color palette provides an endlessly modular and rich design system that expresses both the flux of contemporary design practice and the bright, desert landscape of the Arizona locale.
