Working closely with GitHub and Tinsel, the esteemed event designers, Volume helped to realize the theme and overall experience of GitHub’s annual Universe conference. We then devised a wayfinding system to help attendees navigate the expansive Fort Mason site in San Francisco, a much larger footprint than conferences past.
Inspired by past World’s Fair and other historical expos, we channeled the conference brand (designed by BUCK) to create a system that is functional and exuberant. And, since Universe ‘25 will be in the same location, GitHub can reuse the steel structures for whatever system is devised next year.
